Drivers on the M25 are warned of 'severe delays' after an incident in Buckinghamshire today.

Congestion is building up on the M25 at junction 16 (M40) after a broken down vehicle closed one lane shortly after 3pm.

There were severe delays of twelve minutes and increasing on the M25 anticlockwise with an average speed of 15mph, the AA said. 

National Highways warned bank holiday travelers to expect congestion and slow moving traffic until 4.15pm.
