An award-winning gastro pub in Beaconsfield has revealed its new head chef.

The Greyhound in Beaconsfield announced Jermaine Harriott as the new head chef, while James Askew has become the development chef.

Harriott has worked in top UK restaurants in London and Manchester over the years before he joined The Greyhound as a sous chef.

He said: “I am super excited and can't wait to get going. I am so looking forward to driving the kitchen and putting my touch on the plate with a firm focus on improving what we do everyday.”

The multi-award winning pub and restaurant in Beaconsfield Old Town recently celebrated a rare achievement.

Its owner Daniel Crump was named as a Master of Culinary Arts for service - just one of 25 people to achieve the accolade in the UK.

Crump commented: “I am incredibly proud of the team we have here at The Greyhound and the work they put in every single day.

“Watching James and Jermaine work together this past year has been brilliant - it is a natural and exciting progression for them both as The Greyhound grows stronger.

“Jermaine is a fantastic cook and I am excited to continue to work with both Jermaine and James in their new roles.”
