WEEKLY round up of hearings at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court. 

April 4:

AKINWUNMI ADENIYI, 47, of Calville Gardens, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and without a licence on November 5 last year in Aylesbury. He was disqualified from driving for six months and fined £660. There was also court costs of £110 and a victim surcharge of £264.

ARCHIE MAILLE, 21, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty of having an improvised weapon on November 24, 2021 inside HM’s Young Offenders Institute in Aylesbury. He was sentenced to 26 weeks in jail and an order was made for the weapon to be forfeited and destroyed.

BERNARDO ALIAJ, 20, of Bears Hedge, Oxford, pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle involved in an accident in Aylesbury on October 4 when damage was caused to another vehicle and he failed to stop. He also pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention as well as driving without insurance. He was disqualified for eight months and made to complete 120 hours of unpaid work. No order for costs was made as the defendant is an asylum seeker.

GEORGE WOODLEY, 57, of Old School Hill, Ley Hill, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Chesham on July 8 last year. He was given 260 hours of unpaid work and 30 days of rehabilitation activity. There was also a victim surcharge of £114 and court costs of £85.

ARIF UDDIN, 23, of Bourne Road, Pangbourne, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention on the M4 junction on September 28 last year as well as failing to comply with traffic light signals. He was fined £40 and his driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points. There was also court costs of £110 and a victim surcharge of £16.
