WYCOMBE Museum took full advantage of the snowy weather by organising a snowman competition in their grounds.
The event was publicised by local radio station Elevenseventy and several families took part and made four snowmen which have been photographed for posterity.
Vicki Wood, the museum's officer, said: "It was a really good day and was the second day of snow so it was ideal for snowman making.
"Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
"There was a snowman who had been made sitting down and even one with a nose.
"I was very impressed with the standard."
There was no clear winner so prizes of chocolate and badges were given to all who took part.
