AN £8 million warehouse is currently being built creating more than 50 jobs for the area.

The new 40,000 square feet industrial and warehouse facility in Buckingham Industrial Estate is being built by the Deeley Group.

Called Cygnet 40, the manufacturing and distribution facility is expected to be complete in Spring 2024 and was approved by Bucks Council in March earlier this year.

The distribution hub will be available for sale or on a new lease and will feature electric vehicle charging for two cars, 43 car parking spaces and benefits from easy access to the M1 and M40. It is also close to Silverstone’s world-renowned automotive and motorsport cluster.

Andrew Brazier, development consultant at the Deeley Group, said: “We’re pleased to be underway on site now and creating a leading modern facility for the manufacturing and logistics industry.

"We are working closely with our agents White Commercial Surveyors to identify potential occupiers for the site which is set to generate more than 50 jobs for local people in Buckingham.

"This is our third development in Buckinghamshire and we are proud to continue to contribute to enhancing the economy in Buckingham.”

Chris White, Managing Director at White Commercial, added: “Deeley Properties will be providing a quality Headquarters building in Buckingham which is excellently situated close to Milton Keynes and Northampton.

"The availability of the building on a For Sale or To Lease basis is already providing a good level of interest, particularly from the high-performance automotive sector.”
