It's been a rainy beginning to August so far for many across the UK as well as in Buckinghamshire, but how long is it expected to continue?

After record-breaking 30-degree weather back in June, Bucks had a fairly cloudy and wet July, with staycationers battling scattered thunderstorms alongside frequent showers.

Storm Antoni, the first storm named by the Met Office this year, has kicked the weekend off with gale-force winds and heavy downpours battering Buckinghamshire and large parts of the country.

While the downcast weather is expected to carry into the beginning of next week, by the end of it, the county might just see a return to sunbathing weather.
