A DRIVER has been ordered to complete unpaid work after being caught driving without a licence.

Martin Donovan, of Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross, was caught on March 23 driving in a BMW on the M61 southbound.

The 31-year-old was caught driving without a driving licence, without third-party insurance and driving without due care and attention. He pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates Court on August 10.

He was ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

Donovan was also ordered to pay a £114 victim surcharge as well as £85 in court costs.

A driving disqualification was also imposed for 18 months.
