FROM suspected drug dealers being arrested to a recap of one of the most horrific crimes to shock Buckinghamshire, here is a round-up of crime stories from the Bucks Free Press this week:

TWO suspects have been charged and remanded in custody in connection to drug dealing in the town.

Thames Valley Police searched a property in Garratts Way, High Wycombe on Saturday, August 19.

The neighbourhood police team officers arrested two suspects from the property.

They have both been charged and remanded in custody for the "concern in the supply of class A cocaine and concern in the supply of class A heroin".

The Sixth Commendamnt, tells the real story of 69-year-old Peter Farquhar, Anne Moore-Martin and murderer Ben Field. 

Farquahar was murdered by Fields as they shared a home in Maids Moreton and had promises of marriage as they committed to a 'betrothal ceremony'.

Field poisoned and manipulated Farquhar as he convinced the former lecturer to change his will to give Fields £20,000.

In October 2015, Farquhar was found dead in his home, at the time it was believed he had died from alcohol poisoning however police later discovered that Field had strangled him.

A transport company has been fined thousands of pounds for illegally dumping an 'un-roadworthy' trailer on a roadside in Bucks.

Transport company Sophia Transport Limited was fined thousands of pounds for illegally dumping a lorry trailer by a roadside in Beaconsfield after traffic cameras spotted employees committing the offence in the early hours of the morning.

The "un-roadworthy, articulated trailer", which was dumped by the side of the A40 in Beaconsfield in the early hours of January 27, remained on the side of the road for several weeks before it was removed and destroyed by Buckinghamshire Council using taxpayer funds.

A director pleaded guilty to dumping the trailer on the side of the A40 on behalf of the Hayes-based company at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on August 9.

The company was issued a fine of £2,667 alongside a £1,066 victim surcharge, £3,282 in clearance costs and £571 in investigation and legal costs, an amount totalling £7,586.
