A former rugby player and I’m a Celebrity contestant will host a DJ set in High Wycombe.

James Haskell, who is best known for playing at Wasps over two spells, will attend Magnolia Park on Sunday, August 27, with the 38-year-old trading his gumshields for turntables as he will mix several popular house and disco tunes in South Buckinghamshire.

He will be teaming up with Prestwood-based DJ Because of Art, who has gained a reputation as one of dance music’s hottest new talents following extensive airplay on BBC Radio 1.

Beacause of Arts said: "The music caters to everyone and the venue is in the most perfect setting for a day party.

“The vibe was amazing last year and this year is looking to be even better.

“I am also a massive disco/soul fan so it’s a great chance for me to play out the tunes I love that I wouldn’t normally be able to.

“It’s going to be a good day.”

Following his retirement from rugby in 2019, Haskell has appeared in several TV and radio shows, most notably in that year’s edition of I’m a Celebrity.
