A community cricket tournament has raised thousands of pounds for a special education school.
The bank holiday Chesham cricket day in August attracted more than 300 people, whose generous donations raised £3,535 for the Heritage House School.
The organisers from The Chesham Muslim Community and councillors went in to hand the cheque at the school and meet the headteacher and pupils.
One of the organisers Waj Fayyaz said: “We then had a walk around the school, classrooms and we were all pretty emotional seeing the children but also really happy at the same time what such lovely facility the school has to support the children, including the staff who are all brilliant.

“I'd like to see more help being provided to the school including helping paint and decorating. “
He thanked all the sponsors and Jonathan Royals from the Chesham Cricket Club for their help.
“We were so proud to see everyone come together as one to make such event joyful to watch, we couldn't have done this without the Chesham community,” he added.
