A NUMBER of roadworks are set to take place in Bucks towns and villages.

Drivers were warned of works taking place in Chesham, Amersham and the Chalfonts in the coming days to improve the roads.

These works include conventional resurfacing, micro surfacing, and road painting by Buckinghamshire Council. 

Chesham

 

St Mary’s Way road lining will be refreshed with new paint during works between Monday, October 9 and Thursday, October 12.

A lane closure will be in operation from 9pm to 5am.

Old Amersham

 

The drainage works, which began in early September, are due to finish in Old Amersham soon.

A two-way signal system has been in place on High Street from Church Street to Mill Lane.

The works are expected to finish on Friday, October 13.

Chalfont St Giles

 

A number of roads in the village will close for micro surfacing works.  

Back Lane from from Deanway to Bottrells Lane will be closed between Monday, October 9 and Tuesday October 10.

Full road closure will be in operation between 8.30am and 5pm.

Whole length of Fleetwood Close will be closed on Tuesday, October 10 between 8.30am and 5pm for micro surfacing works.

Captain Cook Close will have a full road closure in operation on Wednesday, October 11 from 8.30am until 5pm.

Chalfont St Peter

 

Buckinghamshire Council announced conventional surfacing works on the A413 Chalfont St Peter Bypass, including the Gravel Hill Roundabout and approaches.

A full road closure will be in operation from Wednesday, October 11 to Monday, October 16 between 8pm and 6am.

Croft Road will see micro surfacing works from Lower Road junction to Croft Close on Wednesday, October 11.

A full road closure will be in place between 8.30am and 5pm.
