Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the passing of one of their fans, and club historian, Dave Finch at the age of 73.
The lifelong Chairboy started to support the club in the 1960s before writing the matchday programme for several years.
He was also a member of the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association committee and wrote the club's official history book in the 1990s.

Many fans took to social media to send their tributes to the much-loved Wanderers fan, with the club’s media and marketing manager, Matt Cecil saying on Facebook: “A wonderful and passionate supporter of our great club.
“We Cecils spent hours reading through the history book when it was published in the 90s, and I keep a copy next to my desk at the club as a very handy reference point on many occasions.
“Rest in peace Dave, and my thoughts are with Lynden, David and the rest of the family.”
Supporter Dave Bassett, who once went 27 consecutive seasons without missing a competitive fixture, added: “Incredibly sad news.
“My thoughts and prayers are with Lynden, Sarah and David, and their families at this time.
“He was a very dear friend whom I have had the privilege to know over many years at both football, speedway, even a trip or two on the vintage buses and many a long trivial pursuit night!

Wycombe fan, Ian Baker added: “So sorry to hear the news.
“Condolences to Lynden, David and other family members and friends.
“Dave was one of our most loyal fans for so many years.

“He truly loved the club and he truly loved history.
“I once got into a debate with him about the year of the formation of the club.
“So passionate he was that it was 1887, he sent me a handwritten essay complete with pages and pages of photocopied evidence supporting his argument!
“Really saddened to hear the news.
"Rest in peace, Dave.”
