The Managing Director of a Buckinghamshire care home, who was described as 'an incredible leader' by her colleague, has been shortlisted for a prestigious award for her 'outstanding contribution' to the care sector.

Natasha Lazovic came to the UK from Serbia in 1994 to train as a nurse and has gone on to work as first Regional and then Managing Director of Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s biggest providers which oversees the Chalfont Lodge Care Home in Chalfont St Peter.

Natasha, who was described by the CEO of the company as an ‘incredible leader who is totally devoted to her teams and her residents’, now works in a variety of care settings, both in the NHS and the private sector, across southern England including in London and Buckinghamshire.

Staff and residents at the Chalfont Lodge Care Home are now celebrating their Managing Director’s success after she was shortlisted as a finalist in the Great British Care Awards 2023, a nomination-based awarding body recognising excellence in the care sector.

Natasha, who has been shortlisted for the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Social Care award on a regional basis, will go through to the national final next year if she takes home the title at a ceremony in London on November 18.
