A reality TV star will feature in a celebrity special of a popular BBC home improvement programme set in Buckinghamshire.
To mark its 20th anniversary on the BBC, home improvement series Homes Under the Hammer is preparing to air several celebrity specials over the coming months, one of which will bring presenter Tommy Walsh, alongside a famous reality TV face, to the Buckinghamshire countryside.
Across five episodes, two of which will air on November 17 on the day of the show’s anniversary, a number of famous faces will make appearances on Homes Under the Hammer and share insights into property renovation.
Each episode will include a celebrity host, a new property and a memorable moment from the two-decade-long show’s archive.
One instalment, with an air date that has yet to be announced, will see Tommy Walsh make a trip to Buckinghamshire alongside The Traitors star Amanda Lovett.
Homes Under the Hammer first aired on BBC One on November 12, 2003, and presenters have since travelled to a wide range of property auction lots across the UK.

Martin Roberts, who has helped to present the show for the entirety of its run said: “Who would have thought back in 2003 when I uttered those immortal lines, ‘let’s find out what happened when it went under the hammer’ for the first time, that I’d still be saying them 20 years on? But I am.
“And I’m so very proud to have been part of this much-loved show that’s been bringing entertainment and inspiration to viewers for a spectacularly long time.”
