Heavy traffic is causing delays in a Buckinghamshire village, with the issues expected to last until mid-November.
Four-way lights have been implemented along the B474 in Penn, due to repairs conducted by Thames Water.
The works have been in place since October 30 and are due to last until November 13.
This will mean motorists who regularly use that road need to find alternative routes, as numerous delays have been spotted since the end of last month.
The traffic lights are currently based along the Hazlemere Road, Elm Road, Common Wood Lane and New Road.
One commuter, who travels from Holmer Green to Loudwater for work said: “I understand that repairs need to be done, but why do they need to be done during morning rush hour?
“It doesn’t make any sense.
“Do it in the evening when there’s no one about.
“This will mean many people, who leave in good time to get to work, aren’t wasting time being stuck in traffic.
"It's very frustrating."
