Roads around Buckinghamshire will have temporary closures in effect this Sunday as thousands of residents gather to pay their respects to servicemen and women who lost their lives in war.

Buckinghamshire Council has approved a number of road closures across the county ahead of Remembrance Sunday (November 12), when the nation annually holds remembrance of armed forces members who died in the line of duty.

Below is our non-exhaustive compilation of all the road closures that might impact your travels this Sunday.

High Wycombe

Castle Street, Queen Victoria Road, High Street, Cornmarket and Church Street will be closed from 7am to 3pm.

Wycombe Marsh

Mead Way, London Road, Beech Road and Kings Road will be closed between 2pm and 2:30pm.

Beaconsfield

Malthouse Square, Windsor End and Hedgerley Lane will be closed between 10:30am and 11:30am. 

Marlow

High Street, Marlow Bridge, Station Road and Station Approach will be closed from 8am to 12pm.

Flackwell Heath

Treadaway Road, Common Road, Straight Bit and Old Kiln Road will be closed between 10am and 12pm. 

Wooburn Green

Holtspur Lane and The Green will be closed all day on Sunday. 

Seer Green

School Lane will be closed between 10am and 12pm. 

Amersham on the Hill

Bois Lane and Sycamore Road will be closed from 11:30am to 12pm.

High Street and The Broadway will be closed between 10:40am and 11:30am.

Chalfont St Peter

Nicol Road, Hampden Road, Gold Hill North and Market Place will be closed from 2pm to 3pm. 

Chalfont St Giles

Up Corner, Stratton Chase Drive, Silver Hill, High Street and The Green will be closed from 9:30am to 11:30am. 

Gerrards Cross

East Common will be closed between 10:50am and 11:10am.

Holmer Green

Beech Tree Road and The Common will be closed from 3:15pm to 4:30pm. 

Lane End

Finings Road, The Row, High Street and Marlow Road will be closed between 10:50am and 11:15am.

Aylesbury

Great Western Street, Market Square, Market Street and Long Lional will be closed between 6:15am and 12:15pm. 

Whitchurch

White Horse Lane will be closed from 10am to 12pm.

Waddesdon

High Street, Silk Street and The Square will be closed between 10:45am and 11:15am.

Wendover

High Street and South Street will be closed from 2:15pm to 2:45pm.

Long Crendon and Chilton

Chearsley Road and Bicester Road will be closed between 10am and 10:10am.

Winchendon Road will be closed between 10:45am and 11:30am.

Duke Street, High Street, Wycombe Road, Bell Street and Horns Lane will be closed from 9am to 11:30am.

Stokenchurch

Wycombe Road, The Common and Church Street will be closed between 10:55am to 11:05am.

Radnage

City Road will be closed from 10:45am to 11:30am.

Iver

Church Road, Langley Park Road, High Street and Thorney Lane North will be closed between 10:30am and 11am.

Burnham

High Street will be closed from 10:15am to 11:25am.

Milton Keynes

High Street and Church Road will be closed from 10:30am to 11:30am.
