Police have appealed for witnesses after a man in his eighties was seriously injured.

Thames Valley Police appealed for witnesses to the serious crash in Iver.

A male pedestrian was hit by the driver of a black Toyota Avensis on Wood Lane at about 6.57pm on Tuesday, November 21 at the junction of Bellswood Lane.

The man in his eighties was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries and he remains there in serious condition.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and no one else was injured.

Senior investigating officer Sergeant Richard Martin of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are carrying out enquiries following this investigation.

“We are appealing for the public’s help and would ask anyone who may have seen the man in his eighties who was wearing green trousers and a black anorak, prior to the collision to please come forward.

“Additionally we would ask anyone who may have CCTV, dash-cam or who saw this incident or the moments before the incident to please come forward if they have not already done so.
