A stop-stick was used to catch an alleged drug dealer in north Buckinghamshire, which has led to an arrest.

At around 1.30am on Friday, November 24, officers were called to an area of Buckingham after a Ford had been ‘seen involved in suspected drug deal’.

A pursuit began in the town after a lengthy chase that eventually ended in Aylesbury, some 17 miles away, the driver was apprehended by the authorities.

It had been confirmed that the person in question had his car tyres deflated via the stop-stick, but ‘decamped’ to try and evade getting caught.

His tactic failed, and he was eventually arrested for dangerous driving, failing to stop and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

They remain in police custody.
