SUBWAY has revealed plans to open a new site in Buckinghamshire.

The popular fast-food chain known for its foot-long filled sandwiches, salads and cookies has revealed it is opening a new restaurant in Chesham.

The announcement comes days after rumours about a Subway in Chesham were discussed on OurChesham Facebook page.

Now the company has confirmed the new site will open next to the Chesham Post Office before the new year.

A spokesperson for the company said: "We are excited to confirm that there will be a Subway restaurant opening in Chesham, on 95 High Street between Christmas and New Year.

"We look forward to serving fresh meals to the local community including the all-new Subway® Series menu featuring 15 chef-inspired Subs, SubMelt®s, Wraps and Salads."
