A 39-year-old man broke his ankle and wrist in a hit-and-run incident this afternoon that also injured a woman and a child.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a “serious” hit-and-run that took place at the H7 Chaffron Way junction with Strudwick Drive in Old Brook, Milton Keynes this afternoon (December 1).

Just after 1pm, a white or silver car collided with a 39-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman and a child while they were crossing the road.

The driver failed to stop at the scene and reportedly fled in the direction of the V6 Grafton Street. They were then believed to have exited Oldbrook from Strudwick Drive.

The 39-year-old man sustained a broken left ankle and broken wrist from the collision, and though the woman and child had less serious injuries, all three pedestrians were hospitalised following the incident.

Investigating officer PC James Holt of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I would also urge anybody who may have captured the incident on dash-cam to please get in touch.
