Four people were injured with two requiring hospital treatment after a car crashed into a popular kebab van in High Wycombe.

At around 10.50pm on Wednesday, December 6, the authorities were called after a black Jaguar was seen ‘driving suspiciously along Bellfield Road in the town.

After the police were notified and pursued the vehicle, the car collided with the stationary Hello Boss kebab truck, before each of the four occupants in the crashed Jag all fled on foot.

Inside the kebab van were also four people, with two of them requiring hospitalisation due to injuries suffered to their arms.

No arrests have been made as of yet.

Investigating officer PC Scott North, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please come forward.

“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.
