Here are five Christmas events that are worth checking out this festive season.

Waddesdon Manor Christmas Market

Whilst we know that Waddesdon Manor is one of the most iconic landmarks in the whole of England, you may not be aware of their huge Christmas Fair.

Lasting until December 17, the market is open to anyone with wooden chalets selling decorations, candles, jewellery and crafts, and a festive food village all be on show.

It’s certainly one to try out.

Enchanted Wonderland

Officially started at the beginning of this month, Enchanted Wonderland in the Chiltern Shopping Centre will allow children to experience a Santa’s Grotto with a twist.

Youngsters will be able to meet ‘Mrs Clause’, along with some elves as they try and solve a festive mystery, before being ‘transported’ to see the ‘Man in Red’.

A very unique bit of festive fun this December.

The Coca-Cola Truck

Everyone loves a Christmas lights show, and there will be an incredible set of displays as a handmade Coca-Cola truck will appear in High Wycombe.

Organised by the Jocelyn Family that live on Bank Street, residents far and wide can watch the spectacular which is expected to dazzle the town the week commencing December 11.

It will be an amazing site to see.

Family fun carol service

An event for all the family to enjoy, there will be a Christmas Carol Service at the All Saints Church in Marlow on December 13.

Starting at 7pm, many classics and well-known tunes will be sung as the festive day edges closer.

Getting Quizzy and Christmas

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Christmas if there wasn’t a festive quiz and thankfully, one will be taking place at the Botanist in Marlow on December 17.

Entry is free and there are prizes to be won, with the event starting at 3pm.
