Heavy rain this morning has led to parks and footpaths being submerged in water.

The Met Office forecast for Saturday (December 9) saw heavy rainfall from 4am, not stopping until 9am today.

Although Wycombe largely escaped the worst effects of the downpours, persistent rain has caused a park to flood.

Photos taken by park visitor Amanda Donovan show Holywell Mead near The Rye, submerged in murky water.

Other parts of Wycombe are affected by floodwater with buses having to cancel journeys.

Although the deep water isn't pleasant for pedestrians, ducks seem to be enjoying their new home in the park.

The rest of the afternoon will see sunny spells from 1pm to 3pm.
