The signs of an upcoming McDonald's have gone up - but with the absence of the big brands usual yellow and red colouring.
McDonald's is set to open in Taplow's Bishop Centre later this month, despite previous controversy over the location and access to parking.
The previous Evans Cycles has been transformed with new branding and foyer, with parking bays now sign posted for delivery drivers and click and collect customers.
A sign on the door reads: "Hello Taplow. Your new restaurant opens 24th January."
Plans for the McDonald's first went in in at the end of 2022 and were followed by both a planning and licensing meeting, in which residents and councillors challenged the need for the fast food giant in the area.
Catherine Knight previously said: "There is not a need for this."
Meanwhile Joe Mc Gochian raised concerns about parking, stating the Bishops Centre is the "worst thing to have happened to the area".
"You will change this environment forever," added another resident on the plans.
Now Nando's is also set to join McDonald's, Costa and Bella Italia in serving food in the retail centre.
Meanwhile Tesco, TK Maxx, Homesense, Nike, Mountain Warehouse and The Works continue to operate.
