A 'projectile' was shot at a moving vehicle on a road in Buckinghamshire where pony and trap riding was taking place yesterday.

Thames Valley Police has issued an appeal for information or dashcam footage of an incident that involved a projectile being shot at a moving vehicle in Chalfont St Peter near Denham yesterday (January 13).

The projectile was launched at around 8:46am on the A413 Amersham Road heading into Denham, and police have confirmed that pony and trap riding was taking place in the area at the time. 

Although no one was injured in the incident, the vehicle targeted by the projectile did sustain damage.

Police have asked anyone who was driving on the A413 at the aforementioned time to review their dashcam footage in case they captured the incident unfolding.
