Numerous kits that were used by the Wycombe Wanderers Women's team have found themselves a new home in Africa.
The unneeded 2020/21 and 2021/22 home kits were sent out to Ghana and will be worn by Naajoe Royals FC, who have decided to adopt the light and dark blue quarters.
The shirts and socks were collected at the end of November 2023 along with other items of clothing from Burnham FC.
This is due to the Chairgirls ground sharing at the Non League side.
All the shirts were donated through Kit Aid, a not-for-profit organisation that sends unneeded tops to some of the world’s poorest nations.
The cause was founded in 1998 and in 2023, the Hertfordshire-based charity sent their one millionth item of clothing overseas.
