A man has been jailed for three years after breaking into and stealing items from a home in Buckinghamshire.
Vincent Trillow, 43, of no fixed abode, gained entry to and stole items from a property in Penn between November 14 and 18 last year.
He was arrested on December 8 and charged the following day.
Yesterday (January 25), Trillow was sentenced to three years in jail after previously pleading guilty to one count each of burglary and theft at Aylesbury Crown Court.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Charles Taylor, part of the Priority Crime Team based at High Wycombe police station, said: "Thames Valley Police is committed to bringing burglars to justice as it is an incredibly invasive crime.
“I am pleased that this has resulted in a lengthy prison sentence and will hopefully serve a lesson to others who seek to commit burglaries that we will always look to put offenders before the courts.”
