COMEDIAN Nish Kumar, the renowned host of The Mash Report and Pod Save the UK, has confirmed a fresh live tour across the UK and Ireland in 2024.

The latest tour, named 'Nish, Don’t Kill My Vibe', leads with Kumar, a noteworthy political comedian based in the UK.

The tour will be coming to Aylesbury's Waterside Theatre's on November 3, 2024. The show comes at an apt time during the election year when the country is already amidst chaos.

Kumar, recognised in the 50 Best Comedians of the 21st Century by both The Guardian and The Telegraph, intends to address climate collapse, income inequality and the feelings of being a British Indian man uninterested to vote for a British Indian Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

Spanning 80 minutes of intense comedy, the show also includes a support act and interval.

Mr Kumar stated his anticipation for the tour albeit the tumultuous times: "As the world collapses around us, I look forward to dragging my increasingly decrepit body out on tour and doing the only thing that still makes sense to me – stand up comedy."

Over the years, Kumar has earned commendable success in the stand-up circuit with multiple acclaimed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Two of these shows were finalists for the esteemed Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2015 and 2016.

His previous tour, Your Power, Your Control, saw noteworthy attendance and was critically appreciated in 2022.

The tour also aired as a special on Sky Comedy in 2023.

Beyond his hosting roles for The Mash Report (BBC Two) and Late Night Mash, Kumar frequently appears on television and radio.

He currently hosts the popular Pod Save The UK podcast, and is a regular on Taskmaster (Dave), Live At The Apollo (BBC Two), and other shows like QI (BBC), Have I Got News For You (BBC One) and The John Bishop Show (BBC One) among others.

Kumar also has a Netflix special under the Comedians of The World series and participated along with fellow comics in comedies such as Joel & Nish vs The World for Comedy Central and Hold The Front Page on Sky Max.

His contributions on radio include two series of Spotlight Tonight for BBC Radio 4, hosting The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4) and Newsjack (BBC Radio 4 Extra), earning the Rose d’Or for Radio Comedy while hosting.
