A new Aldi and McDonald’s are set to open in High Wycombe near the M40 Handy Cross roundabout.
The budget supermarket, which will share the site with the McDonald’s, is set open in Cressex in April 2024.
Aldi is funding the construction of a new crossing point to the site from John Hall Way, a new planning agreement with Buckinghamshire Council shows.
The German chain will also cover the costs of an upgraded site access road onto Crest Road, which also serves the nearby Five Guys, TGI Fridays and Asda.

McDonald’s has not confirmed when it will open its new two-storey outlet on the brownfield site, which previously hosted a park and ride facility.
However, a new licensing application from the fast food giant shows that it wants to operate the store 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The shared Aldi and McDonald’s site will provide a total of 126 parking spaces, as well as space for 16 bikes, according to the planning application.
A planning statement for the new development says that the supermarket and restaurant will create at least 100 jobs between them.
