EDEN Shopping Centre is running a competition for shoppers who can guess the correct store to replace Zara.

Popular fast fashion shop Zara, which has over 50 branches across the UK, closed its unit in the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe at the end of last month after the building's lease expired.

The Free Press reported that the chain was rumoured to be leaving the Buckinghamshire town at the beginning of January after staff were allegedly told in a meeting that the lease for the premises, at 41-43 Newland Street, would end on January 31.

Residents in High Wycombe described the closure at the time as 'such a shame', with some criticising the 'lack of investment' in the Eden Shopping Centre while others took turns to guess its replacement.

Eden Shopping Centre is now hoping to get customers excited for its new opening by launching a competition.

Earlier today (February 16), shopping centre bosses announced a new store is "opening here very soon".

If shoppers can guess which store is opening correctly they have a chance to win one of two £100 vouchers to spend in the store once it opens.

Entry for the competition is done through the Eden Shopping Centre Facebook page.
