Police have attended a second crash near the Holtspur junction just nine hours after two cars collided on the same road.
Amid the rush hour traffic cars have collided turning out of Broad Lane onto the A40 shortly before 5:30pm.
A black car has been badly damaged to the front and debris is scattered across the road.
Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue are currently on the scene.
A further four cars have stopped with their hazards on. It is unknown how many cars were involved in the collision.
Police have temporarily cordoned part of the road off with part of the A40 closed to motorists.
It is advised to avoid the area.
