Thames Valley Police have closed a road in Aylesbury this morning.
The A41 Clayfield road is now shut following an electricity pylon being damaged.
Police said ‘there is now a live cable across the road’
The incident was first reported shortly before 5am.
Drivers have been warned to not attempt to drive through.
