CCTV images have been released in connection to two robberies which took place in Amersham and Chesham Bois.

Police said at about 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 21, two men entered Ivy Stores, Plantation Road in Amersham and threatened a member of staff with a knife.

They then stole several items from the store.

Offenders left the scene with cash, vapes and tobacco. No one was injured during the incident.

At around 5.30pm yesterday on Thursday, two men entered the Londis store in Bois Lane, Chesham Bois.

One of the men was carrying an axe and made threats towards a member of staff demanding the till be opened.

As one of the offenders walked behind the counter towards the till, he hit the staff member to the head with the axe causing significant injuries.

Both offenders left the scene with cash and vapes. The victim is receiving treatment for their injuries in hospital.

Detective Sergeant Campbell Smith, based at Amersham police station, said: "I am releasing CCTV images of two people who I believe may have vital information about these incidents.
