A teenager has been hospitalised after he was attacked by a group of men outside a nightclub.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a fight that involved a group of men attacking a 19-year-old man outside Popworld in Milton Keynes.

The attack, which did not involve knives, took place at around 3:15am this morning, Saturday, February 24, in the 12th Street area across the road from Popworld.

The 19-year-old was left with facial bruising, a broken nose and cuts on his mouth and he remains in hospital.

Four men were arrested for affray and are being held in police custody.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Hollie Cromarty, based at Milton Keynes police station, described the incident as a “serious assault”.

She added: “There is an increased police presence in the area while we investigate, and I’d like to ask anyone with information to come forward.
