EDEN Shopping Centre bosses have confirmed when Sports Direct is moving into a new unit.

Sports Direct has confirmed it will be opening 'a bigger and better store' in Eden Shopping Centre, High Wycombe, in Spring 2024.

An undertaking of the Frasers Group plc, the Sports Direct store is relocating from Octagon Parade to provide patrons with an expansive 12,000 sq ft retail destination in the Eden centre.

The store, part of hundreds in the UK and globally, will offer a selective range of the biggest sports and lifestyle brands’ footwear, clothing, and equipment.

It will also provide additional brands from the Frasers Group's network such as USC and GAME.

Centre Director, Andrew Norton, expressed his delight at this development saying: "This is great news for sports and sporting apparel fans in the area.

"Sports Direct's commitment to High Wycombe is evident and Eden has been able to provide the desired quality of location that fits with the brand's store elevation strategy.

"This is one of the many new retailers that Eden will welcome this year."

A spokesperson for Frasers Group added: "We are pleased to be opening a new, elevated retail destination in High Wycombe’s Eden Shopping Centre.

"The Sports Direct store will give High Wycombe customers access to the world’s best sport and lifestyle brands."

Eden Shopping Centre hasn't confirmed where Sports Direct is relocating to, however, current employees in the store told us it will occupy the former Zara unit.

Zara's lease came to an end on January 31.
