Easter is only round the corner and there is no where better to celebrate than in Buckinghamshire.

For the county is home to one of the best restaurants in the UK. 

Three of Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar Indian restaurants have been listed in OpenTable’s top Easter dining specials menu locations.

Last year, the majority of people secured their Easter weekend reservations a week or less in advance, so if you have a special place in mind, don’t wait too long to secure your dream Easter meal.

Featuring curated Easter menus, themed experiences, and a variety of options to suit all budgets and preferences, OpenTable’s special Spring menus and excellent Easter experiences, include Riwaz in Beaconsfield, Vaasu in Marlow, and Hawkyns in Amersham.

Riwaz

On Easter Sunday and Monday Riwaz will be serving a three-course menu from 12–7pm, priced at £35 per-person.

Choose from Riwaz menu highlights such as crab bonda with sweet corn and basil mayo; lamb shami with cumin yoghurt; aloo gosht featuring slow-cooked lamb leg with potato and steamed rice; prawn biryani; and chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce to finish.

All mains will be served with dal makhani and cumin pulao, while a selection of additional nibbles and breads will be available to order alongside. A trio of wines (£35) and cocktails (£25) are also available to accompany.

Vaasu

On Easter Sunday and Monday, Vaasu in Marlow will serve a special three-course set menu, priced at £35 per-person. Choose from Vaasu menu highlights such as prawn 65 tossed in tomato and crispy garlic sauce; smoked lamb rump with stuffed morel mushroom and rogan jus; seasonal vegetables and mushrooms in peanut korma; and brûlée Simnel cake to finish.

All mains will be served with black dal and jeera pulao, while a selection of additional nibbles and breads will be available to order alongside.

Hawkyns

In Amersham, Hawkyns will serve a three-course Easter menu available for lunch or early dinner on both Easter Sunday and Monday, available from 12-7pm.

Priced at £29.50 per-person, guests can tuck into a choice of dishes such as chicken scotch egg with mustard mayo; kathrikkai pollichathu comprising aubergine wrapped in banana leaf; Lake District diced lamb leg with baby potatoes, Heirloom tomatoes and spices; or a mixed grill platter loaded with grilled chicken, lamb, prawn and fish, plus roast potatoes and mixed leaf salad.

A selection of additional sides will also be available to order, including the likes of squid rings, lamb samosa and onion bhajis.

To finish, choose from the likes of mango parfait with pistachio brittle and raspberry coulis; apple jalousie with puff pastry and vanilla ice cream; or pistachio and mango kulfi.
