After four years, the much-missed Denham Village Fayre is making a triumphant return on Monday, May 27.

The Fayre, which was unable to resume immediately after Covid restrictions lifted, is thanks to a dedicated group of villagers who formed a new committee in 2024.

They were determined to bring back the event with origins in 1227, that celebrates community spirit, tradition, and raises funds for St Mary's church.

The Fayre not only showcases the heritage of Denham but also its vibrant atmosphere with a mix of music, dance, traditional games, and stalls brimming with crafts, local produce, and tasty treats.

An important aspect of the Fayre is the coming together of the community, providing a platform for village members to connect and celebrate their bonds.

Volunteers, tireless in their efforts to keep their heritage alive, have dedicated hours to revitalize this cultural extravaganza.

This year's Fayre is not simply an event, it is seen as a moment of community reconnection.

"We are so excited for the Fayre on 27th May and hope we are blessed with good weather, great experiences, and good friends," said a spokesperson of the committee.
