BUSINESS leaders in Marlow have weighed into the Buckinghamshire County Council election by challenging candidates to answer questions on transport issues in the town.
Marlow Chamber of Trade and Commerce has drawn up a list of nine questions.
The chamber is concerned with traffic using the town centre and the number of lorries using the town's roads.
Colin Berks, the president of the chamber of commerce, said: "We are receiving reports that company and shop owners are not happy about the situation .
"Because of the lack of public transport and the expense of parking it is now clear it is difficult to employ junior staff in Marlow."
Mr Berks added that those elected should deal with the issues but so far none of the candidates has contacted him.
