Princes Risborough Town Council is gearing up to host its first Farmers Market of the year.

The council expressed their excitement for the free event on Saturday, April 20, welcoming back attendees to what they describe as a "foodies delight".

Princes Risborough Farmers Markets showcase a wonderful array of produce that is lovingly made by friendly producers right here in the Chilterns, and where possible within a 40-mile radius of Princes Risborough.

The bustling market will see a mix of favoured vendors and fresh faces selling an ample variety of local delicacies including ginger juices, artisan chocolates, flavoured breads, pies and more.

Food stands featuring really Good Sausages Burgers & BBQ Bites, and Funky Elephant, will offer hot takeaway meals for shoppers.

Adding to the day's excitement, Basil and Crews Educational Mobile Farm will keep the children engaged.

Basil the Shetland Pony and his crew of fluffy and furry friends will be at King George V Park from 9am to 2pm.

The council said: "It's a lovely opportunity for all to learn more about and feed these gorgeous animals.

"The market is set to take place at King George V Park on Wellington Avenue in Princes Risborough.

"For up-to-date information, the council encourages a visit to their website or Facebook page."
