Police officers have recovered ‘multiple’ Land Rovers and Range Rovers reported stolen from South Bucks at a ‘chop shop’ in High Wycombe.

Officers in the Marlow Neighbourhood Policing Team identified a number of stolen vehicles at the address last week – some of which had already been chopped into parts to be sold on.

The vehicles were traced to thefts in Wycombe, Marlow, Reading and London.

An investigation by the South Bucks Priority Crime Team is ongoing.

Thames Valley Police warned residents earlier this month of an increase in the overnight theft of keyless vehicles around the South Buckinghamshire area.

BMWs, Mercedes Benz and Range Rovers in Wooburn Green, Marlow, Gerrards Cross and The Chalfonts are thought to be particularly at risk.

A spokesperson for the force urged drivers to keep their car keys away from their front door at night and consider buying a signal blocker pouch or putting their keys in a metal tin.

They added: "This month we have charged and remanded multiple people who have travelled to our region to steal vehicles off driveways and cause misery. Please help us help you by following these steps."
