Police are appealing for witnesses after a girl of primary school age was sexually assaulted by a middle-aged man in Marlow. 

The primary school child was walking along Westhorpe Road at around 5:50pm on Thursday, April 18, when a man approached her and touched her over her clothing.

She was not injured and ran away.

Thames Valley Police has described the offender as a white man with very tanned skin, aged between 40 and 50 years old, of slim build and approximately 5ft 10 ins tall.

He reportedly has brown/ginger hair with grey streaks falling to the left-hand side and stubble of the same colour.

The man is believed to have been wearing a dark green jacket with black on the arms and collar, skinny jeans and black trainers during the incident.

Investigating officer PC Claire Pearce said: “This was a concerning incident and we are carrying out an investigation in order to locate the offender.

“If anyone saw this incident (take place) or recognises the man from the description, please get in touch with us.”
