HANDY Cross roundabout is suffering mayhem following gas works on Lancaster Road.
Delays bit drivers hard this morning (April 23), with one journey taking over an hour instead of 25 minutes.
Daisy Waites said: "Gas works on Lancaster Road have caused mayhem this morning.
"Apparently it was gridlocked."
Another reader echoed her concerns about being late to work.
The works, causing footway closures and alternative routes, will last until Monday, April 29.
There is also a road closure on Ragmans Lane which is in place until May 8.
This is for pothole repairs being carried out by Buckinghamshire Council.
