A man has been charged after attempting to steal an e-bike.
Ashley John Smith, aged 36 (D.O.B 12/08/1987), of no fixed abode, was charged with one count each of attempted robbery, actual bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The charges relate to an attempted robbery of an E-bike in Farnham Road, Slough, on March 16.
Smith was arrested on Wednesday, May 1, and was charged the following day.
He appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 2, and was remanded to appear at Reading Crown Court on June 3.
