A 26-year-old man has been arrested for intending to cause ‘fear of violence’ with a firearm in Milton Keynes.
Thames Valley Police received reports of a man with a firearm in public in Fern Grove, Bletchley, on Wednesday, May 8.
Armed officers were called to the scene and arrested a 26-year-old man from Wakefield on suspicion of “possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence”.
He has been released on bail until August 1.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Dawn Washburn said: “I understand this was a concerning incident but there has been an increased police presence in the area in the days since.
“Fortunately, no one was hurt, and we made an arrest quickly after it was reported to us.”
