A High Wycombe teacher has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence following a pro-Palestinian protest in central London.

Marieha Hussain, 37, from High Wycombe, has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence after police posted a photograph in November on social media of a woman holding a placard.

The Metropolitan Police previously said the woman in the image was being sought in relation to a hate crime.

She was charged on Friday, May 10, and will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 26.
