Police are searching for witnesses after a man was punched, kicked and stabbed in a violent robbery.
A man in his twenties was punched in the face, kicked in the ribs and stabbed by two robbers outside the Springfield shop on Springfield Boulevard in Milton Keynes on Friday, May 25.
Between 10pm and 10:30pm, two black or mixed-race men dressed in black and wearing face masks approached the victim and demanded his wallet and car keys.
The man gave the offenders a £20 note, and was punched, kicked and stabbed with something, creating a small puncture wound in his jacket and shirt.
He sustained a small wound in his ribs and bruising to his face but was not taken to hospital.
Case investigator Sophie Gibbs, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident or who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage which has captured what happened to please contact Thames Valley Police.
“You can do so by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240243718.
“Alternatively, for anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
