A man has been ordered to pay over £1,500 in fines and costs after speeding at 81mph on a motorway - contrary to the 70mph limit.
On May 29 last year, Allen John Chilten was caught by an automatic speed camera travelling at over 10mph the local limit along the M4 near Burghfield.
The 44-year-old - of Castell Grove, Amersham - appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on February 6, where he pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding.
He was fined £1,153, and must also pay a £461 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.
In addition, he was disqualified from driving for six months, and has received three points on his driving licence.
