A man has been handed a bill of costs and fines totalling over £500 after failing to provide a blood specimen to the police.
Lee Martin Rusin, 33, of Weller Road, Amersham, appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on May 31.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
This was in relation to an incident on October 6 last year.
Police requested that Rusin provide a blood sample - which he refused to do.
Rusin was prosecuted, and magistrates handed him a community order.
He must complete 135 hours of unpaid work within the next year.
In addition, he has been ordered to pay a £114 victim surcharge, and £550 in prosecution costs to the court.
In total, Rusin therefore owes the court £664 in relation to the offence.
He was disqualified from driving for two years and eight months, and his licence has been endorsed.
