A man who beat up another man has been saddled with over £1,000 in costs and fines by magistrates.
Owen Ringsell, 20, of Stoney Grove, Chesham, appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on May 24 this year.
This was in connection with an incident on November 12, 2023, in which the defendant attacked a man in Chesham.
Ringsell pleaded guilty on a charge of assault by beating. For this, magistrates handed him a £769 fine.
In addition, he must pay a £308 victim surcharge, £85 in court costs, and £100 in compensation to his victim.
This brings the total amount of fines and costs owed by Ringsell to £1,262.
