Four cars were issued notices in Marlow following complaints that they were blocking parts of the pavement.
Officers from Thames Valley Police visited several streets in the town and discovered several vehicles had been parked illegally, with one car blocking a driveway with the driver inside.
The authorities described the actions as ‘dangerous and inconsiderate’ with the force reminding those in the town not to park on the pavement.
In a brief statement that was shared on June 20 via Facebook, they said: “Following complaints from residents - Marlow PCSOs were out-and-about over the past few days addressing issues of dangerous and inconsiderate parking.
“Please ensure that when parking:
- Leave enough space for a double-buggy or mobility scooter to get past
- Don't block pavements forcing pedestrians onto the road”
In total, one car was taken away by a recovery vehicle due to blocking someone’s driveway, one was given a warning notice, and two drivers were given £30 parking fines.
